The habit of not respecting time is a concern in our society. What is the impact of the habit of not respecting time on society? For you, what kinds of factors are important to form the habit of respecting time?

Topic statement: Being late is a bad habit and it causes a lot of troubles for Cambodian society.

Respecting time is an essential part of living that can help ensure success in one’s personal life, academic life, or in the workplace. Especially, in this modern era, respecting time is a crucial requirement for all human beings. Everything starts with self-discipline, and if one cannot respect time then he/she cannot lead a successful, productive, or honorable life. Still, there are many people in our society who are reckless about respecting time. This may be a result of not placing value on punctuality. For instance, Khmer people often come late to weddings. All people, not only Cambodians, need to understand that punctuality plays a prominent part in forming good human behavior. There is an idiom saying, “Time is money” (The Free Dictionary). This idiom means that time is extremely valuable, so we should use it wisely and not let it pass idly. The habit of not respecting time is a broad topic, so in this essay, I would like to narrow it down to “being late”. Being late is considered a bad habit and it has long been a concern in our society. In this essay, I would like to discuss the negative effects of the habit of being late on society and the factors that I use to ensure that I will not be late in my personal and academic life.

What could youths do to stop corruption in Cambodia?

Author: Mizuno Thay

Cambodia, my country is ripe with corruption. Based on my experience here, I encounter corruption almost everyday. According to Transparency International, Cambodia was the most corrupted country in ASEAN (2014). There is no exact definition of corruption, but Oxford Dictionary defines “Corruption” as dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power, typically involving bribery (Online Oxford Dictionaries). Corruption affects millions of lives in Cambodia as well as in many other countries. For instance, I could not get a good high school education due to graft. My teachers did not teach me thoroughly during their official class hours. They asked me to enroll in their special courses if I want further improvement to my scores and grade. Without the possibility to enroll me in special classes, I ended-up faring badly at my high school education. As one of Cambodian youths, people between 14 and 30 years old as defined by Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports of Cambodia, I would like to express my opinion on what young Cambodians could do to quell graft in Cambodia.

      I.         Introduction
Comin Khmere is an engineer solutions provider that also specializes in measurement instrumentation and process automation solutions for the industry. It provides a wide range of engineer services, which include energy audit, security control, power generation, just to mention a few. It was found more than 20 years ago in Cambodia and currently employs more than 1100 employees. Comin Khmere is a subsidiary of Comin Asia, which operates throughout 5 different countries in Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
From our internship at Comin Khmere, we had noticed several profound organizational behavior problems there. First of all, there is a high amount of overtime lately, which makes the salary expense of the company to increase largely. Secondly, there is an increase of turnover rate in conjunction with a reduction of employment rate due to the amount of staff leaves is not commensurate with the amount of new entrants. Lastly, the employee productivity also plummet as a consequence of high turnover and staff exhaustion due to the declining in the amount of staffs with the same level of work.

Describe the relationship between MRP and ERP

Managing inventory and scheduling works are very important for manufacturing companies. Firms that make products need to know clearly the amount of their inventory on hands, which materials do they need for the productions and in what amount from time to time before they can accept customer orders. Many firms fail or delay to deliver their products to their customers due to their inability to keep track of their inventory, set up appropriate schedules for their works, and/or order inadequate amount of materials for productions. Thanks to the development of technology, organizations now can do a better job at managing their inventory and scheduling their works with the use of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and material requirements planning (MRP). In this essay, I will explain what are ERP and MRP and the relationship between them.
